The Glynn County Sports Hall of Fame entered a partnership with Glynn County Schools Athletics in
early 2015 to recognize outstanding performances by Glynn Academy and Brunswick High players in
the crosstown rivalry matchups between the schools in the sports of basketball, baseball and football.

The Players of the Game are chosen by members of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors after the GA-
BHS matchups each year and are usually announced following the games and presented to the
winning players at the same time. When this is not possible, the winners are generally recognized at
the next possible home game involving his or her team.

The winners are also typically photographed with the trophy presented to them by the Hall of Fame
and these photos are posted on the Hall of Fame’s web site and social media pages. Local media is
also notified of the award winners so they can be included in their game reports or other related
reports by their outlets.
